Varina, Lich Queen HORDE by dekus

Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen leads a zombie tribal deck that wins through massive token swarms, drain triggers, and a compact infinite loop. The primary plan is to deploy zombie generators (Cryptbreaker, Ghoulcaller Gisa, Anointed Procession) and lords, use Varina's attack trigger to loot into key pieces, and finish with Gray Merchant or combat. The hidden commander is The Scarab God, a resilient recursion engine and scaling drain source. A secondary combo plan uses Gravecrawler with Ashnod's Altar plus a cost reducer (Undead Warchief or Rooftop Storm) and any drain trigger to deal infinite damage. The deck is highly synergistic but vulnerable to graveyard hate and wraths.
