Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie tribal strategy led by Varina, Lich Queen, supported by a snow mana base and reanimation packages. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost Zombies and mana rocks. Once Varina enters on Turn 4, every attack filters cards through looting, buffers life totals, and fills the graveyard with creature fodder. In the mid game, the deck leverages lords like Lord of the Accursed and token generators like Cryptcaller Chariot to apply pressure. The primary path to victory culminates on Turn 6 through mass reanimation spells like Living Death, Patriarch's Bidding, or Zombie Apocalypse, which return an entire graveyard of buffed Zombies to overrun the table across two combat turns. Secondary win conditions include the Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage combo, The Scarab God drain, and the infinite life drain loop of Exquisite Blood with Enduring Tenacity. Strong spot removal and asymmetric sweepers provide defense throughout the match.
