Talrand, Sky Summoner (Token/Mill/Counter Deck) by CalebWilliams180456

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck is a Talrand, Sky Summoner value engine: every instant and sorcery creates a 2/2 flying Drake, so the deck pairs counterspells, draw spells, and tap effects with the commander's trigger. The primary plan is to land Talrand on turn 4, chain cheap instants/sorceries to amass a flying board, and use Strixhaven Stadium to convert that board into a multiplayer kill. Secondary paths include Murmuring Mystic and Stormchaser's Talent as backup token makers, Rite of Replication to burst Drake count, and slow mill through Dreadwaters/Jace's Mindseeker. The deck is heavily dependent on Talrand for velocity; without him, the token clock slows drastically and the Stadium finish becomes hard to reach.
