Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Spellslinger Reanimator strategy piloted by Magar of the Magic Strings. The game plan revolves around looting expensive, game-altering sorceries and instants into the graveyard and using Magar's {1}{B}{R} activated ability to return them to the battlefield as face-down 3/3 creatures. When these animated spells connect with combat damage, Magar creates and casts free copies of the noted cards each turn. The deck's primary win condition is an infinite combat loop using Savage Beating: because Savage Beating grants an additional combat phase after the current phase, each combat damage trigger casts a new copy, untapping the team and generating endless combat steps in a single turn. Backed by asymmetric sweepers like In Garruk's Wake, overwhelming mass reanimation via Breach the Multiverse, and redundant evasion equipment, the deck delivers explosive mid-game lethality.
