Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Spellslinger and Saboteur Burn strategy helmed by Massimo, the Magician. The deck converts 1-mana instants and sorceries in the graveyard into repeatable combat saboteur triggers on cheap, evasive creatures like Slither Blade, Invisible Stalker, and Wraith, Vicious Vigilante. By imprinting direct damage spells like Boltwave or value spells like Ephemerate and Consider, the deck creates an accelerating loop of free spellcasts every combat step. These free casts trigger potent magecraft and burn multipliers, including Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, dealing symmetric damage to all opponents at once. Supported by efficient 1-mana protection spells, free commander interaction, and deep cantrip selection, the deck reliably establishes an overwhelming damage engine by turn 6 and closes the game on turn 7 with explosive combat triggers or extra combat phases from Great Train Heist.
