Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green stompy strategy centered on Wurm tribal synergies led by Baru, Wurmspeaker. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana dorks and ramp spells to accelerate into Baru, Wurmspeaker alongside power-based card advantage engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. Once assembled, the deck casts enormous Wurms such as Defiler of Vigor, Impervious Greatwurm, and Wurmcoil Engine, which receive +2/+2 and trample from Baru. With large Wurms on the board, Baru's token-generating ability is discounted to just one or two green mana, allowing the deck to create an overwhelming army of 6/6 trample Wurms each turn cycle. High-yield mana lands like Gaea's Cradle and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx support explosive late-game turns, while combat buffs from Ouroboroid and evasion from Bellowing Tanglewurm push through lethal combat damage across the table.
