ELDRAZI by nemis

Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Animar deck is an Eldrazi ramp-tempo hybrid. Animar is a combo-adjacent cost reducer, but the list is built to hard-cast big colorless Eldrazi with land and token mana, then win through annihilator combat plus direct pings from Glaring Fleshraker and Warstorm Surge. The hidden commander is Ugin, the Ineffable, whose cost reduction and token generation fit the Eldrazi plan, but the deck does not hinge on it. With 39 lands and only moderate ramp, the plan is to accelerate into 6-8 mana turns, deploy annihilator threats, and protect them with one-shot and permanent answers. It is a mid-speed beatdown deck, not an infinite-combo deck, despite containing Ancestral Statue and Cloudstone Curio without a true loop. The commander's second face is not relevant-these are two distinct cards, not a DFC.
