Gruul Xenagos Brawler by utesfan1996

Format: Commander

Commander: Xenagos, God of Revels

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Xenagos, God of Revels is a Gruul battlecruiser that makes one creature hasty and doubles its power each combat. The deck ramps to Xenagos on turn 3-4, then drops a 5-8 mana threat such as Old Gnawbone, Ghalta Stampede Tyrant, Railway Brawler, or Zopandrel and attacks for 14-28 haste damage. Extra combats from Karlach, Port Razer, Anzrag, and Seize the Day let it hit multiple opponents in one turn. Backup wins include poison from flipped Etali, Primal Sickness plus Bloated Contaminator proliferate and treasure chains from Old Gnawbone into Ulamog or Worldspine Wurm. Surrak and Goreclaw, Samut, and Arena of Glory act as hidden haste commanders when Xenagos is removed.
