Format: Commander

Commander: Nath of the Gilt-Leaf

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nath of the Gilt-Leaf leads a Golgari discard-control deck that converts symmetrical resource denial into overwhelming battlefield presence. The primary game plan revolves around forcing opponents to discard cards through spells like Dark Deal, Awaken the Erstwhile, and Syphon Mind, triggering Nath to produce a large army of 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens. Once opponents are empty-handed and stripped of answers, the deck closes the game by leveraging its wide token board with explosive overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Beastmaster Ascension, or by executing a hand-lock with Sadistic Hypnotist and draining the table with Torment of Hailfire.
