Deck overview

This mono-red burn deck is led by Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, focusing on rapid noncombat damage and group slug attrition. The primary strategy establishes early damage sources such as Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, and Zo-Zu the Punisher to chip away at life totals. On Turn 4, casting Solphim doubles all noncombat damage dealt to opponents and their permanents, dramatically amplifying the clock. Mid-game turns leverage high-impact spells like Acidic Soil, Fiery Confluence, Flame Rift, and Heartless Hidetsugu to deal massive chunks of damage across the entire table simultaneously. Symmetrical damage pieces such as Sulfuric Vortex and Rampaging Ferocidon prevent lifegain, ensuring that opponents cannot outheal the burn. While the deck possesses explosive damage potential and resilient commander survivability through Solphim's activated indestructible counter, it relies heavily on top-decked burn spells and lacks stack interaction, enchantment removal, and burst card draw.
