Commander: Ratonhnhaké꞉ton

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper Equipment/Assassin tribal deck is helmed by Ratonhnhake ton, a commander that combines unblockable early pressure with a built-in recursion engine. The primary game plan is to suit up the commander with a dense Equipment suite, attack repeatedly to generate 1/1 Assassin tokens, and recur Equipment from the graveyard each combat. The deck can pivot to an alternate win via Ramses, Assassin Lord - if an opponent loses after being attacked by an Assassin you control, you win the game. Secondary threats like Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain and Armored Skyhunter provide additional combat value and Equipment tutoring. The deck relies on combat damage triggers for card advantage and incremental advantage, with a moderate tutor package to find key Equipment.
