brenard, the mad baker by user7866512

Format: Commander

Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Brenard, Ginger Sculptor leads a Bant token/Food/Golem deck that aims to flood the board with cheap artifact creatures and finish with a wide alpha strike. The commander acts as a lord, buffing all Foods and Golems, while his death trigger converts fallen nontoken creatures into recursive Food Golem tokens. The primary plan is to establish a token doubler (Mondrak, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor, Adrix and Nev, etc.), generate a massive board using Splicers and Food producers, then win through combat with Akroma's Will or Campsite Cuisine. Secondary synergies use Food as a draw engine via Trail of Crumbs and Peregrin Took. No infinite combos exist; the deck overwhelms via repeated token creation and lord effects.
