Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Spellslinger Control deck commanded by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The strategy integrates life-drain synergies, spellslinging triggers, and a robust pillowfort defense to control the table before closing the game with an infinite combo. Y'shtola provides incremental burn and lifegain whenever noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater are cast, drawing extra cards whenever an opponent loses 4 or more life in a turn. The deck accelerates through a dense suite of ten 1–2 CMC mana rocks and cost reducers, establishing an operational board by Turn 4.
