Format: Commander

Commander: Lord Windgrace

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lord Windgrace is the deck's draw and land-recursion engine, not its finisher. The primary plan is to discard and recur lands, using Windgrace, Wrenn and Six, Soul of Windgrace, and several landfall engines to bury opponents in elementals, insects, bears, and treasure tokens. Secondary paths drain life with Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Hearthhull, the Worldseed whenever tokens are created or sacrificed, and finish with Omnath pressure or a huge Worldsoul's Rage. The cleanest combo is Horizon Explorer, Mutable Explorer, Springheart Nantuko, and Tireless Provisioner, turning every landfall into a copy of Mutable Explorer and a Mutavault, with Mirkwood Bats converting the loop into lethal. There is no hidden second commander; Wrenn and Six is the most important lieutenant.
