Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive tribal beatdown strategy centered on Ayula, Queen Among Bears. The game plan revolves around casting Ayula on turn two and following up with inexpensive Bear creatures to trigger her versatile abilities. Each subsequent Bear provides immediate board impact by either placing two +1/+1 counters to grow your attackers or fighting opposing creatures to maintain board dominance. In the midgame, the deck leverages tribal synergy pieces like Beorn the Fierce, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and power-based card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Armorcraft Judge to refill your hand. The endgame culminates on turns six through eight, using decisive combat finishers including Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to trample through blockers and eliminate opponents sequentially. While the deck excels at creature attrition and rapid board growth, its reliance on combat damage and limited stack protection makes it vulnerable to board wipes and fast noncreature combo strategies.
