Deck overview

This Kaalia of the Vast deck is an explosive Mardu aggro and cheat strategy designed to deploy game-ending Angels, Demons, and Dragons ahead of curve. Powered by efficient 2-CMC mana rocks and Dark Ritual, the deck reliably casts Kaalia on Turn 3 and attacks on Turn 4. Her attack trigger bypasses high mana costs, putting terrifying threats directly into combat. Master of Cruelties provides an instant player elimination, while Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Bloodthirster lock down the battlefield and amplify combat damage. Free defensive spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver shield Kaalia during vulnerable attack declarations. If disrupted, reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead provide resilient backup lines to bring heavy hitters directly from the graveyard.
