Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes, utilizing +1/+1 counter multipliers, earthbending mechanics, and aggressive combat threats to overwhelm opponents. The primary game plan revolves around casting Minsc & Boo on Turn 4, buffing Boo with +1 loyalty counters to attack immediately with trample and haste, and leveraging counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season to accelerate power growth. When Boo reaches massive proportions, Minsc & Boo's −2 ability flings the Hamster directly at high-priority targets, dealing lethal damage while refilling the hand with massive bursts of cards. As Boo returns automatically at each upkeep, the engine sustains relentless pressure across Turns 6 through 8 using finishers such as Bumi, Unleashed, Jumbo Cactuar, and Preposterous Proportions. While the deck generates immense card flow and combat pressure, its main vulnerabilities lie in minimal defensive interaction and complete absence of stack protection.
