Deck overview

This is an Izzet Dragon midrange list built around Firkraag, Cunning Instigator as a haste attacker and a goad-draw engine. The commander taxes opposing boards into attacking each other, then converts those forced connections into +1/+1 counters and cards. The 99 backs that plan with a dense flying Dragon suite, ETB-damage enchantments, and a spellslinger package that can dump a lot of mana into a single turn. Primary wins are aerial combat plus ping effects from Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks. A parallel finish is Repercussion plus any damage-based wipe, which converts a developed multiplayer board into a table-wide burn spell. Underworld Breach, Mana Geyser, and Dragonstorm give the deck a bursty "big turn" mode when the graveyard and mana line up. Firkraag is important card flow, not a combo piece; the 99 can still beat down and combo without him, just more slowly.
