Wild Wild Wolves by user1661210

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf-tribal midrange list built around Chief of the Wilds, a 4-mana Menace wolf that piles on +1/+1 counters whenever another Wolf enters and copies the triggered abilities of other Wolves you control. The main plan is to flood the board with Wolf tokens from Hollowhenge Overlord, Chief Warg's Company, Howling Moon, and Nightpack Ambusher, grow the commander into a huge attacker, and close with Craterhoof Behemoth or raw go-wide combat. A commander-independent backup combo of Sensei's Divining Top, Bolas's Citadel, and Aetherflux Reservoir draws the library and shoots the table. Fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Mox Diamond, Mox Amber) plus Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, Demonic Tutor, and Worldly Tutor assemble the pieces, while Necropotence, Sylvan Library, The One Ring, and The Great Henge keep the hand full. The commander is a powerful multiplier, not a hard lock - the wolf army and the artifact combo both still function if he is removed.
