New Untitled Deck by rycordes2

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender turns nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends every end step, making this a land-animation beatdown deck with a graveyard-return trick. The hidden payoff in the 99 is Toph, Greatest Earthbender, who gives land creatures double strike; Azusa, Moraug, and Bumi add extra combats. With Ashaya or Liquimetal Coating, Bumi becomes a land creature and can loop extra combats to finish the table. Secondary packages use landfall tokens (Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat), counter doubling (Doubling Season, Innkeeper's Talent, Bristly Bill), and recursion (Timeless Witness, Conduit of Worlds, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher). The deck is a mid-speed goldfish that can shortcut to turn 7 with its two-card Bumi/Ashaya line but usually grinds out kills by turn 8-9.
