Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Grixis typal midrange deck that blends combat aggression, looting velocity, and burn attrition. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient Villain creatures early, leveraging Doctor Doom's combat ability to repeatedly trigger connive. Conniving filters your hand, buffs your board with +1/+1 counters, and turns discarded land cards into direct life loss against every opponent. As the game develops, token generators like Madame Hydra and Ultron expand your board presence, while payoff pieces like Iron Monger, Titania, and The Squadron Sinister turn your army into an evasive, lethal fighting force. The deck supports this aggressive core with versatile removal spells, asymmetric sweepers like Kindred Dominance, and value engines like Containment Construct. Because the strategy operates entirely on board-based synergy without infinite combos or stack protection, success depends on smart combat sequencing and managing your graveyard resources.
