Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mono-Green Stompy engine led by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan deploys undercosted, high-power creatures such as Topiary Stomper, Wayward Swordtooth, and Hulking Raptor alongside specialized ramp like Fanatic of Rhonas and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. These creatures assemble 10 or more total power by Turn 3 or 4, reducing Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, the deck converts its 12/12 statline into overwhelming card advantage through power-based draw spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and The Great Henge, drawing double-digit cards in a single turn. The deck finishes games through massive trample overruns using Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or combat doublers like Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. Robust protection cards like Heroic Intervention, Not of This World, and Allosaurus Shepherd shield key permanents, ensuring a resilient and rapid combat victory.
