Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages lifegain triggers to rapidly grow a wide board of creature tokens using Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. By pairing early lifegain enablers like Soul Warden and Authority of the Consuls with a redundant package of 10 Hare Apparent cards, the deck easily creates large token swarms. Lathiel converts accumulated lifegain into +1/+1 counters at each end step, turning modest 1/1 tokens into massive threats. Alternate payoffs like Archangel of Thune, Heliod, Sun-Crowned, and Blossoming Bogbeast provide redundant paths to scale power or grant evasion. Mass recursion via Raise the Past and protection from Heroic Intervention sustain the board through disruption, allowing the deck to overwhelm the table in combat by turns 6 through 8.
