Gruul Go-Go by FaustsAccord

Format: Commander

Commander: Xenagos, God of Revels

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Xenagos, God of Revels leads a Gruul stompy deck that accelerates into large legendary creatures and turns them sideways for lethal commander damage. The primary plan is to cast Xenagos, deploy a high-power threat, and use his attack trigger to double its power with haste. Secondary paths include extra combat steps via Anzrag or Overpowering Attack, and alternate finishers like Chandra's Ignition or Etali's poison transformation. The deck is built around Xenagos's pump ability; both faces of the double-faced Etali are relevant, but the front face's free-cast trigger is the main value engine, with the back face as a poison alternate win. The deck functions moderately without Xenagos because many creatures are already large and have haste, but his doubling is the main speed and reach multiplier.
