Commander: Magus Lucea Kane

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helmed by Magus Lucea Kane, this Temur "X-matters" deck is a counter-doubling, spell-copying value engine. Kane's Psychic Stimulus ability both banks two colorless mana and copies the next X-cost spell or activated ability, and the deck is built around exactly that payoff: Hydroid Krasis, Goldvein Hydra, Voracious Hydra, Savageborn Hydra, and the rest of the hydra/Tyranid suite enter enormous, while Unbound Flourishing, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, and Doubling Season multiply the counters again. Wins come from an unblockable, hasty, trampling creature army (Herald of Secret Streams, Temur Ascendancy, Winged Hive Tyrant) or from a huge copied finisher - Crackle with Power, Chandra's Ignition, or Soul Immolation - toppling all three opponents at once. Riku of Two Reflections functions as a hidden backup commander, and a dense suite of big-creature draw engines keeps the gas flowing.
