Deck overview

This deck executes an Orzhov Angel tribal strategy integrated with an explosive aristocrats reanimation engine led by Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. In the opening turns, mana acceleration and self-mill tools like Entomb and Buried Alive populate the graveyard with formidable Angel threats. Once Shilgengar resolves, sacrificing high-toughness Angels yields an abundance of Blood tokens at zero mana cost. The deck then activates Shilgengar to mass reanimate the entire graveyard, deploying decisive stax pieces such as Brisela, Voice of Nightmares and protection powerhouses like Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Clever synergies like Solemnity, Eerie Interlude, and Ghostway eliminate finality counter drawbacks, allowing continuous re-use of creatures. Opponents are locked out of lower-cost interaction before being overwhelmed by an airborne alpha strike.
