Draw and Discard by Jarbo

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage is a discard-control strategy that punishes opponents for drawing and discarding cards while generating massive card advantage through the commander's trigger. The primary win condition is the infinite life-drain loop of Exquisite Blood and Bloodthirsty Conqueror, but the deck can also grind out games via Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, and symmetric draw effects like Wheel of Fortune. The commander's transformed side, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, turns opponent life loss into additional draws, accelerating the deck's inevitability. The plan relies on controlling the board through discard, stacking life-loss triggers, and assembling the combo while protecting it with a dense interaction suite.
