Da Bears by pat22

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Bear tribal stompy deck helmed by Beorn the Fierce. The plan is to ramp hard, deploy a critical mass of Bears (natural or converted via Beorn's combat trigger), and leverage Beorn's anthem plus card-draw payoff once three or more Bears are present. Big bodies, trample counters, and force-multipliers such as Unnatural Growth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Beastmaster Ascension turn the board into lethal combat damage. Secondary engines include power-matter draw (Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, Tribute to the World Tree, Toski, Bearer of Secrets) and cost reduction from Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through overwhelming combat. Beorn is a strong draw engine and tribal enabler but the 99 still functions as classic green stompy if he is removed.
