Deck overview

This is an Azorius blink/flicker value deck helmed by Niko, Light of Hope. Every flicker of Niko generates two Shard tokens - enchantments that sacrifice for a scry-plus-draw - and Niko's activated ability exiles a nonlegendary creature while turning every Shard into a copy of it, creating an evasive, ability-carrying token army. The 99 is built on a dense redundancy of flicker spells and blink creatures (Ephemerate, Cloudshift, Momentary Blink, Soulherder, Restoration Angel, Felidar Guardian) feeding ETB engines like Mulldrifter, Cloudblazer, Entity Tracker, and Dour Port-Mage. Trigger doublers - Panharmonicon, Virtue of Knowledge, Naban, Dean of Iteration, Starfield Vocalist - amplify each cycle, while Exalted Sunborn doubles the Shard supply itself.
