Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos midrange build commanded by Prosper, Tome-Bound, focusing on playing cards from exile to generate Treasure tokens and fuel artifact-based life drain. The primary game plan revolves around casting early mana rocks, deploying Prosper on Turn 3 or 4, and utilizing impulse draw effects to maintain steady card velocity while building a massive cache of Treasures. The deck converts these tokens into win conditions through heavy drain engines such as Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil, or alternate artifact payoffs like Hellkite Tyrant and Depthshaker Titan. While the deck excels at grinding out incremental card and mana advantage, it operates at a moderate pace without fast mana or cheap universal tutors. It also lacks reactive stack protection and enchantment removal, leaving its creature payoffs vulnerable to well-timed opposing interaction. Overall, it provides a resilient, high-synergy value engine that closes games through lethal burst damage over multiple turn rotations.
