Deck overview

This deck is a mid-power Simic swarm and +1/+1 counters engine commanded by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The strategy revolves around converting natural and burst card draw into +1/+1 counters on the commander, which are subsequently harvested into a wide army of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. Supporting enchantments like Hardened Scales, Doubling Season, and Innkeeper's Talent rapidly accelerate counter accumulation and token generation. The deck closes games by overrunning the board with massive token swings amplified by Sita Varma, Masked Racer, Training Regimen, and Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor. It also packs an infinite card-draw synergy via Fathom Mage and Wizard Class. While the engine boasts exceptional card velocity and rapid recovery from sweepers, it carries notable vulnerabilities in reactive interaction, relying on sorcery-speed disruption and combat damage without dedicated instant-speed counterspells.
