Deck overview

Roxanne, Starfall Savant leads a high-velocity Gruul artifact and big-mana strategy that converts token production into massive direct damage. The game plan focuses on casting Roxanne on Turn 4, immediately generating Meteorite tokens that provide targeted removal and tap for two mana of any color under her static doubling ability. This doubled artifact mana fuels explosive subsequent turns, accelerating into decisive finishers like Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, and Hellkite Igniter, or massive token armies through Displaced Dinosaurs and Second Harvest. The deck features strong functional redundancy with artifact pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, turning every Treasure and Meteorite into table-wide life loss. Supported by a robust suite of efficient redirection and protection spells including Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Heroic Intervention, the deck defends its commander and key engines while racing toward a reliable Turn 6 finish.
