Edgar Markov leads a classic vampire tribal deck that leverages his eminence ability to generate a steady stream of 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever you cast another Vampire spell. The primary game plan is to flood the board with cheap vampires and their tokens, pump them with lords like Stromkirk Captain and Legion Lieutenant, and overwhelm opponents with combat damage. A secondary, faster win path exists through infinite life-drain combos using Exquisite Blood with either Bloodthirsty Conqueror, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Marauding Blight-Priest - these loops can end the game out of nowhere. The commander has haste, allowing immediate attacks on the turn it enters, and his attack trigger puts +1/+1 counters on all your vampires, accelerating the clock. The deck is aggressive but lacks consistent tutoring and stack interaction, making it vulnerable to disruption and slower to find its combo lines.
