Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy and burn deck commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator alongside mana rocks to cast expensive, evasive Dragons ahead of the normal mana curve. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates a 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling the board's offensive presence. Direct damage engines like Terror of the Peaks, Dragon Tempest, and Warstorm Surge convert new entries into immediate burn against opposing life totals and creatures. Combat enablers such as Terror of Mount Velus, Kindred Charge, and extra combat steps from Scourge of the Throne accelerate the clock to eliminate the table across one to two combat rotations. Interaction relies on efficient single-target redirection spells and asymmetric damage sweepers that spare Dragons while clearing opposing blockers and utility creatures.
