Bats by Rudolphosv

Format: Commander

Commander: Zoraline, Cosmos Caller

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Zoraline is the recursion engine in a slow Orzhov lifegain/drain shell. The deck attacks with small evasive Bats to generate life-gain triggers, then converts them into symmetrical damage with Marauding Blight-Priest, Epicure of Blood, and Starscape Cleric. Zoraline's attack trigger returns a mana-value-three-or-less permanent each turn, and cards like Jackdaw Savior and Postmortem Professor provide backup recursion. Secondary paths are a beatdown finish with flying lifelinkers and a burst kill from Exsanguinate. There is no hidden commander; the transforming DFCs are value pieces that support the drain plan rather than define it.
