Deck overview

Sarulf, Realm Eater is the deck's engine and payoff: a wolf that grows every time an opponent loses a permanent and can sacrifice that growth to exile a low-mana-value board. The pilot leans into edict effects, spot removal, and sweeper-adjacent spells to feed counters, then switches to combat with Rogue's Passage or a Phyresis infect kill. Counter doublers like Hardened Scales and Corpsejack Menace make individual pump spells lethal. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; Titanoth Rex is the only large backup threat. The deck is a linear Golgari 'grow the wolf' midrange plan that must keep Sarulf alive until the final unblockable attack.
