Format: Commander

Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tiamat is a five-color Dragon tutor and beatstick. The deck's primary plan is to ramp to seven mana, cast Tiamat, and use her enters-the-battlefield trigger to collect a hand that wins through repeated combat steps-most often Old Gnawbone, Klauth, and Hellkite Charger. The secondary path is a midrange Dragon swarm, where Miirym, Lathliss, and Utvara create tokens and Atarka supplies double strike. The hidden-commander figure is The Ur-Dragon, a powerful refueler and finisher once on the battlefield, though his eminence is inactive from the 99. Dragonlord Dromoka and Rith provide protection, while Smothering Tithe and cost reducers keep the expensive dragons ahead of schedule.
