Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Gruul turbo-combo list engineered around Etali, Primal Conqueror. It leverages format-ceiling fast mana artifacts, explosive rituals like Jeska's Will and Treasonous Ogre, and cheap creature acceleration to deploy its commander or assemble game-winning combinations by Turn 2–3. Once cast, Etali triggers four free spells from across the table, frequently hitting copy effects such as Molten Duplication, Twinflame, or additional acceleration to chain massive board advantages. The deck's primary compact victory routes center on the two-card Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame infinite token loop and the infinite creature mana engine of Food Chain plus Squee, the Immortal. A dense suite of zero- and one-mana defensive spells, including Deflecting Swat, Veil of Summer, and Pyroblast, shields critical combo turns from interaction, while Underworld Breach offers rapid graveyard recovery if an initial attempt is disrupted.
