goblin 2 by nidala

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Great Goblin leads a Rakdos amass/Goblin token strategy. The deck's primary plan is to resolve The Great Goblin and use every amass event, proliferate trigger, and noncreature spell as direct damage, amplified by Tor Wauki the Younger and Bothersome Noisemaker. The secondary plan is a sacrifice-token engine: Gorbag of Minas Morgul plus Boggart Cursecrafter converts Goblin deaths into global pings and card advantage. The commander's role is both a burn engine and a card-advantage engine via its death-trigger exile; there is no hidden commander or double-faced face. The deck wins by grinding with repeated counter/token triggers and a steadily growing Army rather than a combo finish.
