Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis aristocrats and temporary theft strategy led by Edea, Possessed Sorceress. The core plan revolves around using Edea's combat trigger alongside auxiliary effects like Dominus of Fealty and Captivating Crew to hijack opposing creatures, attack with them, and sacrifice them before end of turn. While Edea's death trigger returns stolen creatures to their owners, it converts each sacrifice into card draw and triggers classic aristocrats payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Grave Pact. The deck excels at grinding out creature-based opponents and maintaining resource advantage through card flow and edict effects. However, it lacks infinite combos, fast mana bursts, or hard lockouts, meaning it relies on a prolonged attrition game to whittle away 120 total life.
