Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Edgar Markov Mardu Vampire-tribal deck built around Eminence. It never needs to cast Edgar to start producing a 1/1 token with every Vampire spell; lords like Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, and Captivating Vampire turn those chump tokens into a lethal army. The deck pressures via combat plus life-drain triggers from Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, and Malakir Bloodwitch, and refuels through Champion of Dusk, Pact of the Serpent, and Skullclamp. A compact Sanguine Bond + Bloodthirsty Conqueror loop can end the game once any opponent loses life. The commander's haste attack trigger is a potent midgame pump, but the primary engine is the passive token generation.
