Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger and token burn strategy built around Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph. The commander's Three Autostubs ability turns every instance of exactly 1 damage into 3 damage, dramatically amplifying pingers, token triggers, and low-cost red sweepers. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost pingers such as Firebrand Archer or token generators before casting Ghyrson on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, the deck leverages cheap cantrips, burn spells like End the Festivities, and enchantments like Impact Tremors to decimate opposing creature boards while rapidly draining opponents' life totals. Auras like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye convert multi-opponent damage into overwhelming card draw, keeping hand sizes full of cheap fuel. Without relying on infinite combos, the deck achieves victory through compounding burn damage and wide Goblin token swarms, closing out the game around Turn 7 while keeping opposing utility creatures in check.
