Deck overview

This Sultai deck uses The Wise Mothman as a mill-to-counters engine. Mothman gives each player rad counters when it enters or attacks, and each nonland card milled lets you put +1/+1 counters on your creatures. Proliferate effects and counter doublers then grow the board quickly while drawing cards. You usually win through large unblockable attacks with Herald of Secret Streams or a Simic Ascendancy upkeep win. The backup is the Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank loop, which mills opponents out once Ascension has three quest counters. Mothman accelerates the plan but the deck can still generate rad and counters without him.
