Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver leads a Dimir Zombie Aristocrats and combo deck focused on overwhelming board presence, recurring sacrifice loops, and compact win conditions. The early game establishes board velocity through low-cost Zombie enablers, mana acceleration, and value engines like Undead Augur and Cryptbreaker. Wilhelt enters on Turn 4 to create decayed Zombie tokens and draw extra cards at end step. The deck pressures opponents through asymmetric creature attrition with Noxious Ghoul and repeatable edicts like Fleshbag Marauder, keeping opposing boards clear. The primary win condition centers on resolving Rooftop Storm to loop Acererak the Archlich infinitely through the Lost Mine of Phandelver dungeon, draining all opponents from 40 to 0 life in a single turn. Backup lines utilize Poppet Stitcher flipped into Poppet Factory, removing decayed from tokens to generate infinite sacrifice and drain triggers with Carrion Feeder and Plague Belcher. Mass reanimation spells like Living Death provide resilient recovery against board wipes.
