Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed aggro-stax deck built around Slicer, Hired Muscle. By leveraging an extensive suite of 0-mana and 1-mana acceleration, the deck aims to cast Slicer converted on Turn 1 or 2. Slicer's unique ability passes control to each opponent on their upkeep, granting double strike and haste while goading it. This forces 24 commander damage across the table every turn cycle, eliminating players in rapid succession. To keep Slicer alive across multiple turns, the list packs low-cost redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and protective equipment like Commander's Plate. Proactive stax pieces such as Grafdigger's Cage, Vexing Bauble, and Defense Grid slow down opposing combos and shut down free interaction. If the primary combat plan is stalled, the deck can pivot into an infinite token combat combo using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts.
