🐀 Ashcoat & his Relentless Rats | Commander 🐀 by phal

Format: Commander

Commander: Splinter of the Shadows

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Rat tribal deck built around Thrumming Stone. The primary plan is to turbo out the 5-mana artifact, then cast a Relentless Rats so ripple 4 chains into many free copies, creating an overwhelming swarm in one turn. Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm provides the combat pump and a repeatable end-step mill/recursion loop, while Marrow-Gnawer can convert Rats into tokens and give them fear. Tutors and fast black mana accelerate the setup, and Living Death or Patriarch's Bidding rebuild the board after disruption. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; Ashcoat is the sole build-around.
