Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the opening turns, deploying Kefka on Turn 4, and utilizing his symmetrical discard trigger to strip resources from opponents while generating substantial card advantage from the variety of discarded card types. As opposing hands deplete, the deck transitions into the mid-to-late game by casting powerful reanimation and theft threats such as Sepulchral Primordial, Diluvian Primordial, and Kefka, Dancing Mad to exploit populated graveyards. Blink spells like Blur and Teferi's Time Twist double as both protection and trigger multipliers. The deck can close out games through overwhelming evasive combat, steady life-drain effects, or by transforming Kefka into his Avatar form to assemble a lethal card-draw damage loop with Psychosis Crawler.
