Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck pilots Shantotto, Tactician Magician as a scaling threat that grows with each noncreature spell. The primary game plan is to chain cheap rituals, cantrips, and cost reducers to generate massive mana and storm counts, then deploy a game-ending payoff such as a huge Chandra's Ignition, a pumped commander with Super State, or a copied swarm from Mizzix's Mastery. The deck leans heavily on its commander for card advantage-Shantotto draws a card whenever a four-mana noncreature spell is cast-and uses a dense package of rituals (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser) to fuel those payoffs. Secondary win avenues include token swarms from Ovika, Enigma Goliath and Manaform Hellkite, and the incremental damage of Triple Triad or Vivi Ornitier triggers. The list is fast and explosive but highly reliant on the graveyard for recursion (Past in Flames, Mizzix's Mastery) and on the commander for consistent card flow.
