Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange engine helmed by Muerra, Trash Tactician that blends Raccoon kindred synergies with 'cast from exile' paradox mechanics. In the opening turns, dense low-cost ramp and land-drop enablers accelerate mana development, enabling an early deployment of Muerra on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the engine comes online, using Muerra's pre-combat mana generation to trigger expend abilities that gain life and generate steady impulse card advantage. On Turns 5–6, the deck converts this mana velocity into decisive board pressure with powerhouses like Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Nalfeshnee, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Passionate Archaeologist. While the deck possesses explosive card flow and strong recovery through top-deck casting and impulse effects, it runs minimal reactive interaction and relies on combat steps and paradox burn to close games over a couple of response cycles.
