Deck overview

This deck leverages Sami, Wildcat Captain to grant universal affinity for artifacts to every spell you cast. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and establishing a dense board of low-cost artifacts, artifact lands, and mana Myr. Once Sami enters on Turn 4, the casting costs of massive artifact creatures and powerful support permanents drop to near zero. On Turn 5, the deck deploys game-ending threats such as Krang, Utrom Warlord, Darksteel Forge, and Myr Battlesphere, delivering explosive combat damage alongside direct burn from Alibou, Ancient Witness and Reckless Fireweaver. An elite suite of Boros protection spells, including Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, and Flawless Maneuver, shields your board from disruption. Even if Sami is removed or the board is cleared, high-output Treasure generators and Wake the Past provide swift recovery routes to close out the game.
